TortoiseSVN drop support for Windows 2K

the latest TortoiseSVN 1.16.16 doesn't support any more Windows 2K (Win2k) because a change in the CRYPT32.dll (Microsoft change) see the link for more information

If after update you client application (Tortoise) you application doesn't respond is maybe this issue with the new dll, a easy way to validate the issue is goint to the menu and try setting option if you get a pop message like this, you should use a previous Tortoise release

The procedure entry point CryptBinaryToStringA could not be located in the dynamic link library CRYPT32.dll.
